Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Overall the trip was great. The itinerary was perfect with the right number of days for each place. We could have done a few days less in BA as we had been there before.
Most of the hotels and B&Bs were great but there were 2 that were unacceptable. Those 2 were WAY out of town and we did go to see the towns we wanted to visit. Because of distance we would not have seen them unless we pushed that we be moved. We had never used a tour company before so we were not as clear as we needed to be about what we wanted.
Overall the travel company was very accommodating, but I did feel that in Bariloche they just wanted us to stay where they put us which was 25 KM from town. We insisted that we be moved which the company complied with but begrudgingly.
We would also suggest that they not depend so much on the Boutique B&B guide and actually visit some of the properties. we think the actual B& B wrote their own review for this guide which was exaggerated.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Guides were good. There were 2 that were outstanding
Our guide in Buenas Aires was knowledgeable, fun and interesting. She was very adaptable and knew lots of information about the country, economics, politics and history. We just enjoyed her. Our guide in Iguazu. He also was knowledgeable, adaptable, very positive. He loved his work and the country.
The boat trip under the Iguazu falls was spectacular. Exciting, fun and full of laughs. The trek down to boat was challenging for us at 70 years old but well worth it.
The trip around Salta too Cachi and Cafayate was wonderful as well. The rock formations and coloring were fascinating and we wondered why it was not advertised more as a high point.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Be clear that we wanted to stay near town rather than kilometers away from town. Be clear on lodging expectations.
Check out all the arrangements ourselves rather than just depend on travel company.

As soon as we receive your concern about the hotel location in Bariloche, we immediately changed you to a central hotel with no extra cost: we know that the hotel we originally picked for you is a unique and hidden gem, however, we understand that you didn't feel good there. So we hope you liked the other hotel which was walking distance from the main street.
