Australia Review: Sydney, Maria Island, Kangaroo Island, Nambung National Park, Melbourne

We would stay in less expensive hotels.  We don't need luxury, just a decent place to sleep.

We would not purchase Hop-on Hop-off in Sydney.  It was completely useless.

On the way from Kangaroo Island to to Whyalla instead of taking an evening ferry, riding a bus to arrive late night to the Adelaide hotel, and then getting up early the next morning for airport transfer it would make much more sense to fly from Kingscote to Adelaide airport and stay overnight in an airport hotel ready for the morning flight out to Whyalla.
