The La Fortuna hotel stay was superb! Everything about it! 
Witnessing the turtles laying their eggs in Tortuguero was so amazing, extremely well presented also.
mini tours of coffee plantation during fabulous rain storm, chocolate tour very entertaining, zip lining as Seniors so fun (helpers were 
very responsible yet delightful!) , cooking class was nice and intimate, not much cooking on our part, but very tasty and authentic. 
Enjoyed river tours  at Tortuguero, lucky to see A LOT of animals. Our guide of 36 years, spotted everything! 
Hanging bridges also very nice and informative. Arenal hike was good exercise, mountain cleared , saw pyroclastic rocks.
being there in off season was actually a plus, as many fewer people everywhere. Weather was warm and sunny every day till late afternoon 
with entertaining, heavy rains. Rented a car to Coco beach from Guanacaste stay and also to Las Catalinas. Experienced gorgeous sunset at restaurant in Las Catalinas and dinner.
The hotel in Guanacaste was no comparison to the La Fortuna hotel. 
People were delightful everywhere. Pure Vida!!
