Costa Rica Review: Luxury Family Vacation & Birthday Celebration, Safari River Tour, Nature Hike, Whitewater Rafting, Organic Food

We found this travel company online and used them to plan our family vacation to Costa Rica. We travelled from June 12 to 24th as a group of eight people, four adults and four children (ages 10-14.)

From the minute we connected over email, this travel team listened to all our requests and hopes for the trip and worked with us on a very detailed itinerary that covered all our needs. They finessed and revised every detail multiple times until we settled on the perfect plan for our ten day trip. Three different destinations in Costa Rica, the perfect accommodations, and the best activities for our group.

When we arrived one of the planners and his wife met us at the airport to welcome us to Costa Rica. The trip was a belated 75th birthday trip for my Aunt and they came with a beautiful coffee table book of Costa Rica as a gift for her, plus chocolates and refreshments for our drive.

There was a lot of driving around (three destinations all around three or more hours apart) and all the drivers were friendly and knowledgeable and stopped for breaks along the way when we needed them.

We did zip lining, a safari river tour, an organic farm dinner, three nature hikes, whitewater rafting, and horseback riding. All of the trips were very well organized. Special shout our to our favorite tour guides on the whitewater rafting trip, and on the Nature Hike through Manuel Antonio National Park. Unfortunately due to weather (beginning of rainy season) we had to cancel a couple of trips (ATV and Snorkel Cruise) but the travel team kept in touch with us every step of the way, offering alternatives where possible. 

They made restaurant recommendations and reservations. The provided additional transport when we needed it. We loved having direct contact with them on an app and they knew where we were every step of the way on our trip.

I would highly recommend the travel company if you are planning a trip to Costa Rica. We will definitely be using them again.
