Croatia Travel Review: Split, Oyster Farm Tour, Truffle Hunt, Olive Oil Tasting, Culture, History

Our group of 6 young senior adults just returned from 12 days in Croatia, a trip organized by this travel agent.  I can highly recommend this travel company.  My travel agent was very responsive to every question I had, working tirelessly with me in designing our itinerary.  She took time to come meet us during our stay in Split, with a gift of a bottle of Croatian wine.   Everything about our trip was perfectly planned, well organized, and properly paced.  We experienced places that we would never have found on our own.  The hotels were all above expectations and well situated.   All the guides were personable, knowledgeable, professional and responsive to all our needs.  We enjoyed visits to several small family run wineries and a 4th generation oyster farmer who provided us a lunch of super fresh oysters and mussels on his private island.  Having a truffle hunting demonstration was fun and informative.  Our driver was with us for 10 days and was an absolute delight.  He was much more than a driver.  He was also knowledgeable and humorous, becomig part of our Croatian family, going out of his way to satisfy our every need and request, like organizing lamb and peka dinners.  He promptly greeted us every morning with the Mercedes van clean and shiny, well stocked with water.  He was a major reason for the success of our trip.  Croatia is a beautiful, clean and safe country with very friendly people, good food and good wine.  This trip designed by this travel company is one of our best trips, and we are avid travelers.  We could not have asked for a better trip.
