Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

My husband and I took a two-week trip to England and Scotland for his birthday and had a blast. Using this travel agency made our trip so memorable and full of activities and experiences that only an experienced agent would know. The detailed instructions for each activity and leg of the trip was sent to us in advance in a brilliant binder which helped us stay organized and on track and provided all of the details and confirmations we needed to just enjoy ourselves.
Our travel company also helped us adjust as needed when things changed at the last minute to make sure we knew what was happening and why. England reached record high temps while we were there and our travel agency had the forethought to follow the news, check on whether our hotel had A/C, and then make changes as required.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The London Eye Champagne experience - it sounded cheesy, but if you are lucky enough to get a good host, it’s more like unbelievable views, cultural info and a comedy show rolled up into one!
The Winston Churchill War Room Museum was incredible! Take the audio guide.
My husband’s favorite part of London was the private guided tour of Borough Market. Amazing food and insight into the area. Our guide was lovely.
Stonehenge is an absolute must do for anyone intrigued by ancient mysteries and engineering. It was another favorite.
Distillery tours in Scotland with a private driver were amazing! We went to two in the same day and I thought I’d be bored hearing the same information but we learned different things from each. The distillery in Ballindalloch was a highlight for us because it’s a small family joint and we had a phenomenal guide.
Loch Ness is gorgeous, so if you are curious about folklore and/or just want to see some incredible landscapes, this is a good boat tour.
The Falconry Centre in Cotswolds was a surprise favorite event! You get to meet and fly a number of different birds and learn about them and how they’re trained.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

If we did the trip over

I’d have added more time to sightsee in Bath rather than having the Stonehenge trip eat up most of our one day there.
I’d have added some more downtime. We had so much to do activities and travel wise, we didn’t plan in as much leisure as we should have.
I would not recommend the private whiskey tasting/storytelling or the Ghostly Underground Tour in Edinburgh - didn’t get much out of them.
