England Vacation Review, History & Culture

Tour was very specialized to my needs, visiting small villages not normally seen on other tours in England, so Zicasso suited our needs very well.  We learned a lot about village life, had an opportunity to chat with people, and learned how to access common transportation otherwise unfamiliar to us, etc.  The guide made all the difference and was well worth the expense.  His knowledge of the areas we visited was invaluable.  He taught us history of the region, but also familiarized us with the culture and politics of England.  And even areas we visited about which he was openly unfamiliar were navigated flawlessly with a sense of humor, suggestions and patience. We appreciated his explanations.  He seemed to anticipate American confusion and questions.  In a new country, especially if I needed to visit off the beaten path, I'd certainly consider using Zicasso again.  Thanks to Zicasso this time around, I learned enough to date navigating England alone next time around.
