Europe Travel Review: Luxury Multi-Generational Family Trip to England & Scotland, Stonehenge, Bath, Lacock, Mt Nevis

We truly enjoyed our private guides and their extensive knowledge of the locations and sites we visited. We had a one day private tour of Stonehenge, Lacock and Bath and our guide was so interesting and enjoyable to spend the day with. He gave us a wonderful sense of the history and story behind Stonehenge that made all the difference when we saw it in person for the first time.

We had a 6 day private tour of various towns/sites in Scotland, and our guide was absolutely the best. He was articulate, knowledgeable, kind and funny - a perfect fit for our group of travelers spanning multiple generations. He dove right in with getting us up close and personal with the scenery we were viewing - often making stops so we could jump out and take pictures. He also led the way on several walks including a nice beginner hike into an especially beautiful area near Mt. Nevis and an informative walk through Pitlochry's hydro electric dam and fish ladder. He was also very thoughtful - purchasing us samples of authentic Scotland tablet (similar to fudge) for all of us to try.
