Finland Travel Agent Review: Kolari, Saariselka, Northern Lights, Dog Sledding, Local Tradition & Cuisine

There were so many moments on this trip that were truly memorable. First, my fiancé loved the dog sledding. That had been a bucket list of hers from the time we met. Secondly, we were lucky and saw the northern lights 5 out of the 6 nights we were there!! They are truly a spectacle to be seen!! Next the food at the hotel could hold it’s weight against some of the best restaurants in the world. The co-owner and head chef is an artist in the kitchen and an amazing dinner companion. Our night which included a traditional sauna experience and 4 course Finnish meal followed by a proposal will be one of the most memorable night of our lives for years to come! Another fun experience was the snow village, we appreciated the craftmenship from room to room! Especially because both my fiancé and I are Game of Throne fans! Lastly, the ending to our trip in the glass igloo was a true once in a lifetime experience for us. It was like staying in a planitarium while watching the northern lights! Truly remarkable! We wish we could’ve stayed in Finland longer!
