France Trip Review, Scenic Luberon Valley, Walled Cities of Provence, Cabaret Show, Carmague Region Manade, Wine Tastings

We worked with the travel designer of this travel agency.  We had to plan this trip of one week pretty quickly and within a short time of departing. Also we were dealing with the potential for early winter weather, so the ability o be flexible was an important factor.  We were very pleased that she was able to arrange some very specific and fairly unusual activities since we were a private small group (2) in the off season when many of the things we requested were not available. She was able to find people who would make exceptions. 
One activity was riding with the owners of a manade in the Carmague, actually riding among the bulls horseback. This wasn't just a trail ride.  It was a "working" experience for experienced riders with an interest in both the Carmague and in horses working with bulls. 
Another "find" was a private cooking school which would normally only be offered for a larger group and only in season.  My understanding is that he made an exception for us.  We also asked about a cabaret show, and she found a wonderful show ten minutes from our hotel...very professional performances.
We also had to make a change from train to private driver at one point due to weather related damage to the rail line. The private guides we had were both exceptional, especially one guide who we had for four challenging days - challenging because of cold, fog, wrong days of the week and wrong season. She really had to work to fill our schedule with quality sights. She knew what would be open and what would be closed so we weren't wasting time. Also, as a teacher of history she was very knowledgeable, clearly researching and clarifying all our questions, which were numerous.
