Germany Travel Agent Review: Black Forest, Local Cuisine, Visit to Carver, the People

The interaction of our hosts. From the people at the hotels saying hello, where are you off to today, to the evening hosts asking what were you up to today? At one of the hotels, the evening hosts were 2 local people, but they were as excited as we were about where we ate. They looked it up and were talking they were going to look into that restaurant..
Also, we drove ourselves throughout the Black Forest, so being able to slow down and see the magnificent back roads
were truly special for us.
One of our visits was to a local carver, in a small town. Even with GPS, we got lost. We flagged down a gentleman on a bicycle.. asked if he spoke English, he said no, but we showed him the address we were headed.. YES, we followed him on his bike, in our car, to our visit! we have to laugh at ourselves!
