Our trip planner and this travel team provided my wife and I with one of the most exotic and enjoyable travel experiences of our life. India, Nepal and the Maldives was simply fantastic. Our planner, avoided for us two situations that could have made things really interesting. First, he made sure we had no airline tix on a local airways which went bankrupt just before we arrived and was able to cancel and arrange an alternative travel experience after the terrorist attack in Sri Lanka. We still wanted to go to Sri Lanka, but US gov't made it impossible to achieve.
At every turn in our 53 day journey, our trip planner and his staff was there to make sure all accommodations, guides, drivers and events went as smoothly as could be possible. Nothing but the highest regards for this agency and its people.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

All parts of our trip were amazing. Leaving the US in the rain in early April and arriving 40 hours later in Jasilmer (hottest place on the planet - 111 degrees) certainly set the tone for this adventure. From tiger viewing, camel riding, water rafting, trekking in the Himalayas, yoga sessions, fantastic culinary experiences and snorkeling in the Maldives, this amazing adventure introduced us to the most gracious and inviting people of these countries. Driving was very interesting but we had very experienced navigators who used the saying "Good Horn, Good Brakes, Good Luck to," to the max.
Thank you travel team and your staff for all of the tours, cultural events, forts, temples, tuk tuk and trishaw rides, exceptional guides with good English skills and loads of great information and conversation, plus, simply the best hotels in the world...dream realized!!!
One story best defines our India travels and experiences...driving in Jaipur, a city of 7,000,000 people; they have no traffic lights that work and on a 2 lane road, we watched dogs, cows (sacred animal), horses, camels, elephants, donkeys, tractors, tuk, tuk's, buses, taxi's, bicycles, motorbikes of all shapes with at least 3 people on each one vie for space in an amazing cacophony driving abilities and nuances. Not one accident did we see with all of this stuff on the road!!!!

Viewing the Taj, walking in the steps of the Buddha, spiritually moved in Varanasi...so many unforgettable experiences!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We had 24 flights in 53 days, but I'm not sure how to do it differently, since the road conditions are abysmal in these poor and developing nations. Since we designed this trip with this travel team's expertise, we need to own the pace, grueling as it was some days, and lack of ample time sometimes to achieve all the things we would have wanted. Having said that, probably would have traveled to a few less places and spent more time at the ones we enjoyed the most. But, nonetheless, we are the ones experiencing these marvelous travels and in retrospect, the trip was what we planned it to be...a sojourn of unbelievable sites, sounds and smells!!!
