India Travel Agent Review: Haridwar, Old Delhi Rickshaw Ride, Indian Crafts, Spices, Sites, the People, Wildlife, Local Ceremony

It will be difficult to narrow down the highlights of the trip into a paragraph. Every single day brought us eye popping, awesome experiences! We loved all our accommodations in heritage Indian properties. The food was absolutely amazing! So flavorful and tasty- every single meal! Our tour guides and driver were fabulous! We loved hearing all the history behind all our visits. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, personable, lovely! We were so well taken care of right down to every last detail. We couldn't have been happier. We loved the rickshaw ride through the spice bazaar in Old Delhi; the visits to all the different temples; seeing and experiencing the chaotic traffic was mind blowing with cows, oxen, camels, elephants, bicycles, rickshaws, pedestrians, tuk-tuks all managing to share the road together. Seeing the Ganges River where it descends from the Himalayas in Haridwar was gorgeous and inspiring. Plus, we loved everything about Haridwar- where we stayed, the food, the bazaar, the beautiful sites, the friendly people. Loved it! We also witnessed a funeral and the setting afire of the funeral pyre along the Ganges while there in Haridwar which left us speechless, humbled. The nightly fire ceremony practiced by the priests and witnessed by hundreds along the Ganges was amazing. The jewelry, arts and crafts in Jaipur were gorgeous. I was wishing I could load up a huge crate of beautiful hand made Indian crafts to take home with me! We loved trying different foods, snacks, sweets and masala tea while walking through he bazaars in Old Delhi and Jaipur. The train ride in Deogarh up into the countryside, feeding monkeys from the train window are all experiences we will treasure forever!
