I would eliminate one of the walks in Varanassi and not stay in the hotel in Varanassi

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner when I was in Ladakh, India where wifi connectivity was not very erratic. I was able to send a short email telling you I was in Ladakh and would get back to you soon.

In terms of hotels, the Varanassi hotel was the best available except for the luxury five star hotels. Unfortunately as I mentioned to you, the Gateway was undergoing renovations until the end of September and you did not want the other hotels mentioned.
