Italy Anniversary Vacation Review: Venice, Florence, Tuscany, Cinque Terre, Rome

Simply outstanding trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.  Our travel agent and his team took care of all of our planning for the trip from Venice to Florence to Tuscany to Cinque Terre to Rome.  This was our first trip in Europe and we had lots of questions, but also had a pretty good idea of what we hoped to see in our trip.  They listened carefully to what we wanted to see and do and customized an itinerary to our wish list.  This included making reservations at very nice boutique hotels in central locations for each of our stops.  They scheduled all of our transportation between locations including private drivers, train passes and even our boat connection to Venice.  They secured some private guided tours and some group tours based on our feedback.  They recommended restaurants at some locations based on our preferences and even secured dinner reservations for several nights.  They also provided an iphone for use during the trip that was very helpful since we were having some connection issues with our personal cell phones during the trip.
We could not have been more pleased with our trip.  Everything went off exactly as planned - all of the transportation was prompt, our tours were excellent, the hotels were really nice with great locations and other recommendations (such as restaurants) were great.  We strongly recommend our travel agent and his firm for planning a trip to Italy.
