Italy Family Vacation Review: Luxury Tuscany, Rome, Sorrento & Amalfi Tour, Chianti Bike Tour, Hiking, Food & Wine

While we loved the entire trip - there are a few special events that stand out.
In Tuscany, the tour company organized a bike tour through the rolling hills of Chianti.  We had an excellent tour guide to assist on the ride and van support in case any in the family preferred to follow in the van.  The bike ride ended at a small family winery where the owner of the vineyard prepared a home cooked, multi-course Tuscan meal.  The food and wine were incredible and it is a wonderful experience.  Even our teenaged children loved the experience.
In Florence, they arrange a day tour with a fantastic guide who spent all day with us.  We visited museums, shops and had lunch and gelato.  It was a great way to experience the city.
In Amalfi, this tour company arranged a guided trek on the “Pathway of the Gods” an amazing hike along the mountainside of the Amalfi coast.  The views were absolutely breathtaking and our guide was excellent.
