Italy Grandparents & Grandson Vacation Review: Lamborghini Factory, Cooking Class in Sorrento, Venice Mask Making

The origin of the trip was our 12 year old grandson’s interest in Italian sports cars.  So the highlight was the visit to the Lamborghini factory and driving the Ferrari. My grandson loved it and we did to.  It’s also a great place to buy souvenirs. The cooking class in Sorrento was unexpectedly amazing. The 3 of us made a 3 course meal from scratch. The chef/ teacher was very nice and the gnocchi, the personal pizzas and the flourless chocolate cake came out great, and we enjoyed eating it all in a beautiful setting high on a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean.  The mask making experience in Venice was also unique and we all enjoyed making our masks.  My grandson also loved swimming in the blue grotto which required a special tip to our boat driver.
