Italy Travel Review: Rome, Cinque Terre, Milan, Lake Como, Bellagio, Monterosso, Duomo, Trevi Fountain, Cooking Class

Staying close to the Trevi Fountain in Rome allowed us to see it everyday and at all times of the day. Our tour guide in Rome was awesome.  Highly recommend her. Monterosso in the Cinque Terre was the ideal place to stay. Using the ferry to get to each of the other cities was easy and perfect. Bellagio in Lake Como was simply beautiful. So glad we stayed there. Our guide on our tour of Como and then the Lake was awesome as well. Highly recommend her as well!!!!  Our cooking class in Varenna was so much fun!  If you like food please do this class. It is worth it. Varenna is also a very beautiful village in Lake Como. I would have wished we had planned one more day here and then I would have done a Villa tour on the Lake. 

Milan was wonderful and we spent the right amount of time here and saw what we wanted to see here as well. We did the grand tour of Milan which included the Duomo, Last Supper and LaScala. Worth it! We also did the Duomo on our own before the tour and spent 2.5 hours there on our own so we could also see the terraces on top as well as the museum and archeological area. I'd recommend others do the same otherwise with the tour all you get is the Catherdral itself. It was nice to go back to the Cathedral with a guide as well. 

We just had a wonderful trip. All of our hotels were 3 stars and they included breakfast. They were perfect, spacious and we had a view or balcony at all of them. 

We are so pleased with all of the planning that was put into the trip which has made this a memorable experience. We would use this company again and in particular this agent who was responsive and wonderful.
