Italy Trip Review: Chianti, Rome, Amalfi Coast, Historical Sights Tours

We had asked to spend some time in the Tuscany countryside but Radda in Chianti was not the best choice. It was rather isolated. Something closer to the Val D'Orcia region would have been much more preferable. And the hotel in Radda was not comfortable or charming, its breakfast was very mediocre, and we did not have access to its spa. 
The after hours tour to the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museum was extremely disappointing. This was included at our request, but it is worth letting you know that it was far from described. The description was:
"Escape the crowds and skip the long lines to see the masterpieces of the Vatican Museums on this 3-
hours evening tour. Explore this unique museum after most people have departed."
THIS WAS NOT AT ALL THE CASE. The museum was so densely crowded it was hard to move through. The tour group was too large and required multiple translations into different languages. The process was slow and long, the sound system for communicating was not very good, the Vatican Museum was not so interesting, and we were at the Sistine Chapel about five minutes. It was the only big disappointment of our trip. 
Capri is best enjoyed with at least an overnight stay. 
The lunch during the tour of Amalfi Coast was too long and not very good. The rest of the tour was good. 
The tour of Venice was supposed to include the Basilica but because the tour was conducted on Sunday morning it was not open.

In regards to the experience at the Vatican Museum, you are not the first guest to highlight this. In fact, we are discussing directly with the supplier in order to find a solution. The high numbers of visitors the major museums in Italy receive, including the Vatican museums, makes it difficult to provide our guests with special, intimate visits.
