Our agent from the Italy tour company made our planning much less stressful, which we needed for our first trip to Italy. She was very flexible with us and our very focused travel ideas. She broadened our views and helped us get everything we wanted out of our time in northern Italy.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Being wine fans, our agent got us hooked up with one of the best private wine tours we have had. The goal was to try Barolo and Barbaresco in a private tour and we ended with a fabulous experience of amazing wines. We made our agent aware that country views, fine dining and good wines were high priority and we were thrilled with the choices given to us.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would have spent one week in Asti/Alba and one week in Tuscany. If we had more money, we would have gladly paid for a private driver the entire time. Driving Italy is a challenge and can cause major stress. Good thing we had wine and fabulous places to stay to remove all that stress.
