Italy Vacation Review, Genoa, Florence, Pasta & Ragu Making In Local Home, Ferrari Testing, Museum & Winery

We decided to try Zicasso as we liked the idea of being matched with a couple of travel companies that would work with us to put together a unique itinerary for our time in Italy. We ultimately chose to work with this travel company. Our travel planner was very thorough as she worked with us and listened to what type of trip we envisioned, what our interests were, the places we wanted to visit, and the types of lodging we'd be interested in. We wanted to begin and end our visit to Italy in Genoa due to my daughter attending school there. That's not one of the top places that most people visit, but our travel planner worked right through that and we had a great time while we were there. Truthfully, it might be one of my favorite places since it seemed like 'real Italy'. We also had specific activities that we wanted included such as a Ferrari test drive, Ducati Museum visit, a pasta cooking class, and winery visit, along with learning more about each area and the history of the country. 
Our planner proposed an itinerary and then worked with us as we modified it to our liking.

We LOVED our visit!! We had a nice combination of tours or activities along with time to explore on our own. That worked out great for us. Typically a driver picked us up, took us to our hotel and got us checked in. Our tour guides were excellent and willing to adapt our tours based off our interest or anything special we wanted to do/see. Each of our guides and drivers were so willing to share places to eat, other places we should visit, etc. Honestly, it was like traveling with a close friend from the area. 

Our travel planner checked in with us numerous times during our visit to be sure things were going well. She was very helpful when we left an item behind in our driver's vehicle as well as when a few small things popped up that we likely could have managed on our own, but we had our planner and she took care of everything for us!
