The benefits were in the sequence of the tour, soft landing in Sorrento followed by more challenges in Naples, and knowledgeable experts who could put what I was seeing into context.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Great first night restaurant recommended by transfer driver, Amalfi coast drive and boat, Farnese Antinous that was a main must-see for me, Sansevero Cappella I saw on my own time. Sequence of Pompeii artifacts in National Museum followed by site visit next day.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Remember not to carry my wallet in back pocket. Miraculous save by Napoli undercover cops who caught and jailed the thief before he could hand off to an accomplice!
