Japan Vacation Review: Hakone, Tokyo, Tour of Kyoto, Sake Tasting Experience

I would have asked travel company to arrange private transportation to Hakone‘s hotel and back if I had know transportation was such a hassle and time consuming there. 

I would have made reservations for multiple restaurants.

Welcome home and many thanks for taking the time to provide us with some feedback about your trip to Japan.  We're so glad that you enjoyed your time in Japan, especially with our guide in Kyoto and the sake tasting experience.  It's unfortunate that you did not have enough time Hakone. During the original planning process we had planned for two but sadly we did have to remove one due to constraints.  In cases where two nights are not possible though we can certainly attempt to get tickets on a later train in order to allow as much time as possible here and we have noted this in our system for future requests. We do often use the Hakone shuttle for transportation in the area as private cars in Japan are cost prohibitive.  Typically the transportation system in Japan is very efficient and so we do apologize if this was not the case.  We do hope that you will return to Japan one day and certainly look forward to having you travel with us again!
