This safari adventure turned out to be the most amazing trip we have ever taken. The locations, the hospitality, and the abundance of wildlife were far beyond anything we had hoped for. Everything was handled from the moment we landed and all the way until we left.
This tour company was exceedingly helpful in working with us and answering all of our questions. Not only about building an itinerary but also about getting the necessary visas and paperwork for the journey. They are based in the US which turned out to be great for getting quick responses to our inquiries but they also work closely with a local service that we could contact if we had any needs while travelling. The owners have traveled extensively in Africa and had great insight into where to go and stay.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The focus of the trip was to see the great wildebeest migration. The incredible number of animals is mind blowing. Watching them migrate from over the hills and down to the river, then the chaotic and dangerous crossing of the crocodile filled waters, and finally fanning out across the grass plains on the other side. Its amazing to see and something you will never forget.
We were also surprised at how many other animals we got to see in the same areas. The animals are so numerous that it took very little effort to find them and the camps are located right in the middle of everything.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Staying in the tented camps turned out to be really fun. They provide a much more intimate experience with both the animals and with the other guests. The camps are luxurious, clean, and the food is amazing. Our trip had a combination of camp and hotel stays. Though the hotels were nice, we ended up preferring the camps. When we do this again, we would definitely stick to camps as much as possible.
