Luxury Cambodia & Vietnam Review: Ho Chi Minh City & Hanoi Artist, Ha Giang Providence, Local Experience

This travel company did a very good job in helping us set up our extended trip to Cambodia and Vietnam.  Our travel planner was always willing to work on changes in itinerary that I requested and even help set up meetings in Saigon and Hanoi with artists to discuss contemporary art in Vietnam. He was available by phone, email and text.

The drivers were all good careful drivers and very attentive with making sure we had water, bathroom breaks and that the car was clean.  The guides were all very helpful and flexible.  English language skills were always adequate but better for some than others.  This was occasionally difficult when asking complex questions about what we were seeing.  I would say that if you want an academic understanding of certain sites you should request that an expert be hired to go to meet you at the site.

Our last guide was amazing at meeting the local people up in Ha Giang and becuase of this we were able to go into people's homes and have experiences we never would have had on our own!  This part of the trip was a huge highlight! Our only other comment about this experience was that there was not enough time spent in any one place and that made for fairly long drive days every day.

The hotels were lovely.  There was one exception but when I voiced a concern the hotel was immediately switched for another one.
