Luxury Costa Rica Honeymoon Review: La Fortuna, Monte Verde, Manuel Antonio, San Jose, Beaches, Eco-Tourism

The Costa Rican Honeymoon our travel agency prepared for us was an Eco-tourist's dream and Romantic extravaganza  all in one!

It was our fist time time in Costa Rica, and given our heavy work schedules we would have never been able to create the itinerary of activities and secure the caliber hotels that we stayed in without dedicating hours of time and research without  even still remaining doubtful of our choices. When we arrived as Nayara in La Fortuna, it was clear we were about to embark on an amazing journey full of natural wonderment, romantic relaxation, and la creme de la creme of Service. 

Our tour guides were excellent, our hotels were excellent, and everything form pick up to drop off ran accordingly. Moreover, as someone with a ton of food allergies (Celiac disease- including allergy to corn and quinoa- and lactose intolerance) I can only sing the highest praises for all our hotel restaurant dining experiences who made sure to take care of me! My only peeve would be that more places need to have soy milk or some non dairy substitute Coffee!!! (Nayara in La Fortuna was the only place to have it!)

As a NYC gal and urbanite, I'm glad we got to see San Jose, but this was the only day I feel was really wasted and I don't feel the need to go back there again. We had a whole day and night there and I think it would have been more productive vacation-wise as we did arrive uber early in the AM to go straight from San Jose airport to one of our destinations only a few hrs away instead of wasting the day there....Spending the eve in SJ would have made more sense if we did arrive in the late afternoon/evening considering how bad the roads in Costa Rica are for traveling at night in the dark. 

We had a terrific experience and we owe it this agency. We will definitely be returning to Costa Rica and Zicasso to assist us with future adventures!
