Our 8-day Costa Rica trip was nearly flawless. Zicasso put us in touch with our travel planner at this travel company who created a custom itinerary for the Manuel Antonio, Monteverde, and La Fortuna areas. The transports, accommodations, and excursions met or exceeded expectations. All tour guides and drivers were extremely prompt, professional and customer-oriented, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery without navigating the winding roads.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The Manuel Antonio National Park is a must-see for the wildlife. Our guide directed us to multiple sloths, 3 species of monkeys, Tucans and host of native birds. Ziplining in Monteverde is truly a once in a lifetime experience, however, be prepared for wind, rain, and cold temperatures. The hot springs at a La Fortuna resort were unbelievably beautiful and surprisingly uncrowded.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would have stayed at a hotel & reserve in Manuel Antonio and packed differently. The weather in Manuel Antonio was much warmer than expected and the weather in Monteverde was much colder than expected. I also would have sought out more local cuisines as the hotel meals were often expensive and repetitive.
