Luxury Greece & Turkey Travel Agent Review: Santorini, Oia, Crete, Reyethmno, Rhodes, Athens, Istanbul, Hagia Sophia...

Our trip was amazing! We started in Santorini, then went to Crete, Rhodes, Athens and Istanbul. And we loved each and every part! The islands of Greece (Santorini, Crete and Rhodes)were AMAZING!! They were all stunning in their individual way! Santorini is the ideal setting for luxurious relaxation! We stayed in Oia, which is the most beautiful section of the island. Crete is a great island to rent a car and just get lost (sort of) on the back roads of the country! We stayed in Reyethmno, in the old part of the city, which has lots of restaurants, shopping and things to do, I would highly recommend it! Rhodes is the coolest when it comes to Mid evil cities. We stayed inside the walls of the old city, and couldn't have been better placed. Our hotel was a stones throw away from ancient ruins and the castle and we could easily walk to anything we needed. However, we probably loved Istanbul the most though, it is such an interesting place where "east meets west." We were there in early June 2013, during the protests at Gazi Park and Taksim square, but I want all prospective travelers to know that it is TOTALLY SAFE to travel there! Despite the fact that there were protests going on, the city is so spread out and the "Old Part" is so far away, we never noticed anything. Please don't let CNN deter you from visiting Istanbul, it is amazing and the media is blowing the protests way out of proportion!
