We had an absolutely wonderful trip to Italy.  We were initially in Florence, then went by train to Sorrento, then to Rome for the last few days.  The hotel choices were excellent, and the organization of the trip made it all easy.  When we had a question about anything, someone from the travel company was always available with a quick response.  We had planned a tour of the Amalfi Coast which could not happen because of a large fire along the road from Sorrento to Positano.  The travel company quickly offered an alternative tour of Naples, which turned out to be wonderful.  We would probably never have gone to Naples, but now we are very glad we did!  All the guides were great, but we want to especially recognize our guide in Florence who was truly outstanding.  The guide was both informative and entertaining, and was able to navigate a lifetime's worth of art in Florence, which is easily overwhelming, with just the right amount of history and insight.  From the start, the travel company was extremely helpful in designing the trip, and they were there for us during the trip.  There were no surprises.  We highly recommend them, and plan to call on them for our next trip to Italy.
