Luxury South Africa, Botswana & Zambia Travel Review: Cape Town, Victoria Falls, Winelands Tour, Game Drive, Chobe River Cruises

My family and I just returned from a fantastic 12-day trip to Africa that we planned with Tamera from this travel agency. We were supposed to travel in May 2020 and ended up having to postpone twice due to the pandemic. We were delighted to finally travel with our family of 5 adults in May/June of 2022.
Tamera suggested some great activities in Cape Town - we especially enjoyed a winelands tour with our guide, the dinner/show at a restaurant, and a walking culinary tour. Tamera also arranged for a rental car to be dropped off and picked up at our accommodation which we used to get around town and do some additional sightseeing on our own. The transfers to/from the airport (also with our guide) worked flawlessly. 
After Cape Town, we spent 3 days at a private game reserve and stayed at a resort. The game drives with our guide and our tracker were knowledgeable and amazing; we saw the "Big 5" (plus many more) and they worked hard to make sure we could see a leopard on our last evening! We participated in the elephant experience and really appreciated the chance to meet a few of these incredible creatures close up. The food was spectacular throughout our stay and the ladies at the spa provided excellent massages and facials.
We also took a memorable (and wet) day trip to Victoria Falls and then spent the last few days of our trip at the beautiful lodge by the Chobe River. The guides there are all women and our guide was very knowledgeable and skilled at leading the game drives and river cruises. We enjoyed some down time in the sun at our private pool & terrace and really enjoyed the varied dining locations and options.
