Peru Travel Review: Cuzco, Lima, Puno, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Lake Titicaca Floating Islands

The trip was really great. The travel company worked hard to get me the itinerary we wanted for our private tour. The price was reasonable too. They were easy to work with. I chose them because the president of Zicasso used them. All went smoothly for the first few days....we were picked up and taken to our hotels and the guides were on time and took us to all the key places and were very knowledgeable and we liked them. 

A few glitches occured but the company was quick to make it up to us by treating us to dinner and a fancy lunch etc. So that was satisfactory to us. Things happen, mistakes made but they more then went out of their way to make us happy.

About the hotels, I asked for Tourist Superior class and half the rooms were and half were lower level , I felt.. The lesser rooms were just small and no windows, no hot water etc but fine for one night if you were on a budget. But we wanted all nice, larger rooms with view or fresh air. They were eager to make it up to us and we feel that they are really trying to do their best. 

Guides were exceptional. I loved having a private guide and driver so we could go on our own time frame and stay at a place longer or leave it sooner depending on our desires. I would do that again. It was a truly memorable trip.
