I would use charter flights everywhere. I would limit the time in Lapa Rios to 2 days because the rooms are not air conditioned and there is no breeze in the evenings.  This is brutal in 90 degree heat plus high humidity. Also you must be able to walk at least 6 flights of steps to and from the lodge.  The lower rooms 12-18 are 13 stories below the lodge. Do not stay at this lodge if they refuse to guarantee you a room number of 2-10.
