Review: Croatia, Hvar Lavender Fields, Oyster Farm Meal, Michelin Restaurants with Wine Pairing

The walking City tour of Split, the beautiful drive  through the country side, meal at a remote restaurant that cooked the specialties Croatia, the fantastic food and wine pairing at a Michelin rated style winery where the owner of the winery curated the wine, his wife was the MasterChef with the most amazing 7 course lunch and the daughter who served the wines with elaborate explanations of each varietal. We had died and gone to heaven!
Driving through the lavender fields of Hvar, with views of the entire city under our feet from a mountain top, was fabulous.
On the way to Dubrovnik we stopped at an oyster farm where we were ferried by the owner to remote island where he cooked seafood in the most amazing atmosphere.Then  at every corner in Dubrovnik we experienced a delightful surprise... a beautiful hotel with its expansive views of the castle and the sea, exciting Summer festival  with the lovely, throbbing restaurants. Best of all a special treat from the sales manager of our tour agency, in a small village South of the airport where the owner sat and chatted with us amidst  torrential rainstorm under the canopies. First appetizers,  then lobsters seated under canopies at the beach with the plates of calamari,fish and scampi topped off with a latte and wine during the course of the meal. What more could one want?
