We planned a trip to Croatia in early October, 2016 lured by the wine and the climate along the coast. Our agent and his staff opened our eyes to so much more. Our apologies we didn't write this review sooner, as they definitely earned a perfect score in every aspect and the memories have us wanting to plan another visit.

We had used Zicasso for a trip to Switzerland in 2015 and the staff at that travel agency put together the perfect package for two beg/int hikers who also enjoy the creature comforts(and extra pillows!). Our agent did not disappoint in planning the perfect itinerary paired with fantastic accommodations to share his country with us. Customizing private tours is their forte and we felt we expeienced so much more with the team he provided.

Croatia and its people have achieved so much since gaining independence in the 1990's. The people are very well-educated and proud to share their home and culture. We visited Zagreb, Rovinj, Split, Havr and Dubrovnik in 10 days. Our agent arranged tours to see some of the obvious tourist attractions in each, but also provided excellent tour guides to take us off the beaten path and experience more of the daily culture of the varying regions. Driving through the countryside and seeing the rocky soil that had been toiled to produce excellent wines and then experiencing private tastings paired with dinner with the vintners was a priceless memory. The beautiful blue-green of the Adriatic and varied architecture will leave a permanent imprint, and so will its people. Our guides in Zagreb and Rovinj were especially outstanding,  as was our driver, who was the consummate professional. He was a sort of conduit for our agent making sure that we were happy with every aspect of out stay.

 We met our agent in Split at one of his favorite cafes in the Old Center for a wonderfully personal hour and a check to make sure all was well at our halfway point. He absolutely wanted to earn his review stars. Our travels have fortunately taken us to many wonderful places, and it is rare that we re-visit a country for fear of missing out on some different cultural experience. But Croatia left such an imprint that we will probably plan a future trip to Slovenia and the islands of Croatia by small cruise boat. No doubt that this agent will plan something perfect for us, and should you plan a trip to this beautiful country, make it an extended one and this travel company will meet your every need.
