Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

This was an amazing trip. The level of professionalism in the planning, and more importantly in the execution, were impressive.

They planned a itinerary packed with both general activities and those that we specifically asked for that were tailored to our style of travel. The people on the ground in Cuba were, attentive, responsive and engaging to help us find things that we enjoyed; from the simple, like where to eat to the most complicated, like changing destinations in our itinerary.

I will definitely be using them for future travel and I would recommend them to anyone looking to travel to Cuba.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The most amazing part of our trip was bonding with our guide. There were three couples and we spent fifteen days in 7 Cities; without a great guide, this could have been a very different experience.

Our most memorable activities were the Coffee and Chocolate farm, a separate tour and lunch at a working farm, beach cookout and the in-home meal experience where we shopped the street markets and then prepared our lunch with the hosting family.

In general, I would also say that if you are a traveler, it is important to see places other than Havana. Havana was amazing, and you should definitely spend time there, but saying you have 'seen' Cuba after seeing Havana would be like saying you have seen the US after going to NY or LA...you have definitely seen something, but there is much left to see.

Overall...Amazing experience!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would either stay longer, allowing more time in each location or I would eliminate one of the Cities. Although if you asked me which City we would eliminate, I would be hard pressed to pick one.

I also would have studied up more on the history of Cuba. The guide and many people talked of this history, I think if I had a deeper understanding before we arrived I would have had a richer experience.
