Review: Family Vacation in Hawaii, Honolulu, Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, Road to Hana, Volcanoes National Park, Luau

Thank you to this travel agent for planning a fun-filled family vacation to Hawaii.  Our agent was fantastic to work with (and patient) as we went through several versions of our itinerary.  Our goal was to have a family vacation with our 3 college age boys and have a combination of activities which allowed the boys to venture on their own for activities that were more active than what we preferred.  We settled on a 7-day Hawaii cruise for our floating hotel with private tours/guides at each port.  We began and ended with private tours in Honolulu (Pearl Harbor/ North Shore beaches, etc) and then took some rest days at Waikiki Beach to enjoy the beach and go to a Luau.  All of the guides were great in each port and the timing worked out perfect.  We enjoyed dinners on the ship (along with some night time entertainment) and didn't have to pack and unpack as we visited.  We couldn't have done this on our own or in the large group options provided by the cruise.
