Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We had a spectacular trip to Italy. Our stays in Venice, Florence, and Rome were very well planned. The hotels were very well chosen--clean, luxurious, and conveniently located. Our drivers were timely, helpful, and informative. Our tour guides were pleasant, knowledgeable, and thorough. Our tour designer was able to answer the few minor questions that arose in the course of our journey. The whole experience was wonderful!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We thoroughly enjoyed our day visiting Siena, Monteriggioni, and a winery in Chianti. The peaceful atmosphere of these smaller towns was a nice contrast to the crowds in the bigger cities.
We also loved our personal cooking class in Figline. It was an incredibly enjoyable, educational, tasty, and filling experience.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would probably reverse the sequence of cities and go to Rome first, then Florence and Venice. We enjoyed Rome, but the crowds are crazy and the general mood of the city is more intense. It might have been nice to see the major sites there first and then end with the more quaint atmosphere of Venice.
