Review: Luxury Birthday Trip to Croatia, Hvar, Malo Grabje, Fine Dining

My trip to Croatia was a fantastic experience!  This travel agent was a delight to work with and helped me create the perfect experience.  Since I was traveling slightly off season, she was able to work with the flight and ferry schedules to make sure I was able to see everything on my wish list.  We had a lovely hotel booked in Hvar, but since it was slightly on the shoulder season, the AC was not on yet.  This was not really a problem since we could get a lovely breeze through the window; however, the hotel was located very close to several loud nightclubs.  Again, not a problem for those who want to have a great nightlife scene, but I was looking for a more quiet vacation.  I emailed our agent about the situation and she immediately arranged for me to look at a sister property close by, but away from the bars and nightlife.  I decided to switch to the sister hotel, an older property, but still very nice, spacious and quiet.   I did have a sailing expedition scheduled; however, the winds were extremely forceful and gusty, so all sailing was canceled.  Our agent contacted me right away and offered a refund.  I didn't mind the change in plans and spent the day exploring the city and beautiful coast line.  Because of the wind, the catamaran ferry was also not sailing, but again, our agent came to the rescue!  She explained how to exchange the catamaran ticket for a ferry ticket, which was quite simple and no problem at all.  Having an agent available to assist all along the journey was a life saver!
