Review: Luxury European Vacation, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Milan, Vienna, Zermatt, Innsbruck, Matera, Montreux, Geneva

 We took a side trip from Geneva into the French Alps and it was absolutely the best scenic adventure. We were very lucky. Blue skies in Chamonix and the views from Aiguille du Midi ( Mont Blanc massif) were amazing. We could see all the way to the Matterhorn. On a side trip from Montreux to Chateau de Gruyeres another wonderful adventure as we took a wrong turn but it was one of the highlights because we ran into the cows coming down from the mountains for the winter. They had there cowbells clanging and the floral headdresses were amazing. So lucky to see it!!!! Also fell in love with Zermatt. We were lucky again with blue skies and the view from our hotel Julen was breathtaking. There was the Matterhorn in all its glory. The accommodations were very special as were the staff.....they really care. Also loved Innsbruck and Montreux!! So much to say but one more highlight for me was being able to see Romeo and Juliet at Teatro alla Scala in Milan!
