Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We worked with this travel agency to design our trip to Sicily and found them to be knowledgeable and flexible. We were very pleased with each of the hotels, including the variety from boutique to farm to table type old world Sicilian style. For a variety of reasons we chose to have a driver and we were very satisfied with his professionalism and knowledge of the area. We had guides for private tours and with one exception they were good to very good. We reported the ‘bad’ experience and this company has taken action to take this guy off their list.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Attending the opera in Palermo! Staying at a Sicilian farmhouse, visiting my spouces’s family in an ancient hill town, learning about the long history of Sicily ,,, and on and on.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Be much better prepared for connecting flights - we missed *two* at considerable cost to us. Would have expected this company to give us much more realistic info about in-country connections. A lot of expense and unnecessary stress could have been avoided.
