Review: Luxury Thailand Vacation, Bangkok, Phuket, Elephant Camp, Culture, Nature, Local Cuisine

When I initially sent an inquiry to Zicasso, two travel agencies responded.  This travel agent responded with a prompt enthusiasm, warmth and a persistent communication which made me feel that he wanted to be a part of planning the experience that I was seeking.  This was our first trip traveling to Thailand.  I had done quite a bit of research on Thailand regarding activities, hotels and experiences that we were seeking.  This travel agent's continual interest in helping me to find the best fit for our needs, was one of the reasons I remained with him and this travel agency.  The planning of the trip took about a year (my doing, as we had to postpone the initial date of our trip).   As this agent can tell you, I had many, many questions, thoughts and experiences that I was seeking.  He continued to address/research all of my concerns, provided input/suggestions and handled the fluency of my planning and changes with a professional, warm and caring manner.....and was always very timely in his responses.    We had the pleasure of meeting this agent upon arrival in Thailand; what we felt via our e-mail communication was the same in person.....a wealth of information, concern and availability to ensure our vacation was wonderful.   Indeed our trip was wonderful, memorable and a lifetime event.  All of the hotels that we stayed at were great, from our floating villa to the resorts.  The most memorable resort was the Elephant Camp - the surroundings, hotel/accommodations, food and service was beyond exceptional....not to mention experiencing the elephants.   This resort was truly a gift and lifetime memory.  We also stayed at the Riverside Bangkok Hotel; service and food was also exceptional.  This agent also arranged travel guides and drivers for us and all occurred without a mishap.  We soon relaxed; realizing that we had not to worry about the planned accommodations or arrangements for our trip because everything was happening seamlessly.  My husband did experience a bout with food sensitivity and had to be treated; this resulted in us having to cancel one of pre-paid activities in Phuket (which we were looking so forward to) - our agent arranged cancellation and acquired a portion of refund deposit.  I also need to mention our accommodations in Phuket; the service was again beyond exceptional - you felt a very genuine caring by all members of the staff.....truly very memorable.  This was a wonderful experience......thank you to our agent for all that you are and all that you did......
