Bhutan should not be missed if you are heading to Asia. It is a unique culture that is peaceful and inspirational. The landscape is pristine and the Buddhist temples, Dzongs, and shrines have a beauty and spiritual essence that impact you deeply.

Of course, I have to mention the Taj Mahal. Sure, you've seen a million photos of it, but viewing it for the first time as the sun rises will still take your breath away. Equally compelling are the temples at Khajuraho, albeit in a different way. There is no architecture that compares to the fantastic sculpture decorating these iconic buildings.
