This travel agent was always very prompt about replying to emails even on the weekend and patiently dealing with any questions or concerns I had. I'd never used Zicasso or this travel agency before, so I was a bit skeptical, but it was an amazing trip. I was only in Thailand for a week - 5 days if you exclude travel outside and within Thailand, and yet I accomplished more than I would have in 2 weeks on my own. I left everything up to my agent and arranged for private guides and transfers. Having a guide to trust to take care of your belongings and be your personal photographer every day was well worth it and it saved a lot of time because they knew all the best spots and vantage points. Everything was seamless from the airport transfers to the guides arriving early in my hotel lobby each morning and my agent took time to meet me in Bangkok on the first day during a scheduled break. I also got everything on my itinerary done and then some thanks to the guides' willingness to go out of their way to show me a few extra unexpected surprises. I couldn't ask for much else. Before I even left, I started thinking about plans for going back next year.
I stayed in Bangkok, Chiang Rai, and Chiang Mai. Each city had a unique experience that I am glad to have had. Wat Arun and the ruins in Ayutthaya (Wat Mahathat and another one) were impressive. The Grand Palace was nice, but crowded. New Year's in Chiang Rai was interesting and the White Temple is even more breathtaking in person than the photos can do it justice. The Elephant Sanctuary in Chiang Mai was really great too. I especially enjoyed my guide, Nancy, who was with me for 3 days in Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. She took so many excellent photos and made sure to wait until other people were out of the frame whenever possible.
My only real misadventures were that it rained during the China Town tour, so I couldn't do the food tasting, and the Royal Family made an unannounced trip to the Grand Palace, so I only got to stay for 10 minutes. These were both out of anyone's control, though.
I'd probably skip Bang Pa Inn, since it's far away and not that unique compared to everything else. I'd also just stay a few extra days for some free time to enjoy the luxurious hotels a bit more and have more time to try more Thai food on the streets. Just give myself a bit of a buffer.
