Review: Tour of France, Paris, Brittany, Normandy, Loire Valley, Seine River Cruise, Notre Dame, Museum d'Orsey

In Paris we had two wonderful walking tours:  one of the islands in the Seine including a short and sweet visit to Notre Dam Cathedral and another to the Museum d'Orsey.  While walking we had the chance to learn a lot of history and to ask questions about contemporary issues of our very capable guide.  A dinner cruise on the Seine was very special.  I arranged separately for us to attend a concert in La Sainte Chapelle which was fabulous!

In the small town of Bayeux in Normandie we stayed at a B & B in the home of a lovely couple who have done a beautiful job remodeling a house that dates back to the 13th century.  We were the only guests and it felt like we were visiting friends.
