Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

The trip put together by this travel agency was wonderful. The sites we visited were good examples of historically significant places, local culture and striking scenery. Transportation was always prompt and comfortable. The hotels were very nice and well located. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. I would rate them from very good to superb.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The entire trip was memorable. "Discovering" Slovenia was a very pleasant surprise; spectacular scenery, wonderful people, interesting food. Truffle hunting in Croatia was a unique experience. Plitvice was spectacular. Olive oil tasting on Brac and wine tasting on Hvar were delightful.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would schedule a couple of days (out of 15) without any specific planned activities. After visiting Plitvice, Croatia, we probably would have skipped Krka. Though Grosnjan and Motovun were picturesque, we thought we could have skipped them and used the time to explore a little more of Rovinj on our own. We would have spent less time in Split and more time on Hvar.

These are obviously very personal decisions.
