Review for a trip down memory lane to Spain and Portugal

Dear Zicasso:  My trip to Spain and Portugal was just superb, made so by the excellent and caring guidance by my agent at this tour company. She figuratively took me by the hand and guided me all through a wonderful adventure in Spain.

This was a memory trip for me in that my wife and I did a similar itinerary 30 years ago by car. My wife passed away two years ago so this was a treasured memory trip for me made possible by my agent. She got AVE rail tickets for me from Barcelona to Madrid and fro Madrid to Malaga where she arranged a rental car for me. She provided such detail including photos of the signs in train stations where I should go.

Also on a visit to the Bocadril winery near Nerja, she provided photos of the road signs that I needed to follow into the mountain area and the winery. The hotel and Parador stays were wonderful. She kept in constant contact with me by e-mail as my trip progressed from Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Nerja, Ronda, Sevilla, Jerez and Lisbon. At each stop she advised me what to see and experience.

She provided excellent personal guides in Sevilla and Lisbon who made sure I experienced everything possible in my time span. She obtained excellent seats for me at a Corrida in Sevilla and the Horse show in Jerez.

I am a medical school physician professor, so I have travelled all over the world in my academic career, but I have never experienced such excellent personal guidance as I have with this agent. I was delighted to meet her personally  for coffee in Madrid before a flamenco performance. This was a wonderful personal nostalgic trip for me made possible by this agent and her company.  I hope in future that Zicasso can provide similar guidance on another trip.
