Scotland Review: Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Isle of Skye, Overnight in a Castle, History, Landscape & Local Food

Our driver and guide was everything we needed in a guide to this beautiful country.  He was always on time, very knowledgable, very friendly, very courteous and great sense of humor.  After a week of riding around with our driver/guide, in a very comfortable Mercedes van, we felt like he was part of the family.  The places he planned for us to stay were all different and all excellent.  Restaurant suggestions were delicious, ranging from a formal setting in a castle, to fish and chips in local pubs.  The sites he took us to were what we had hoped for and more.  We didn't need tours set up for us at landmarks because our guide/driver was there to fill us in on the history or geography.  We left so happy and pleased with the whole week, and feeling lucky to have had such an amazing experience.  Our driver/guide was a big part of that.
