Scotland Vacation Review: Distilleries, Natural Beauty, Ancient Ruins, the Highlands, Glasgow & Edinburgh

 Scotland was a trip we had wanted to take for nearly a decade. Given the outstanding past experience we had with Zicasso  traveling to Fiji and New Zealand, it was again my first choice when planning for Scotland. 
We chose to work with a travel planner from this travel company who tailored an itinerary that met our specific goals of exploring the natural beauty of the country, with a focus on photography and distilleries.  We had a couple of discussions with our planner who then came up with an ideal itinerary, driver and private van for the 10-day trip. 
Everything about the trip exceeded our expectations, from the planned itinerary, distilleries, and the experiences we had in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Our guide/driver, was exceptional...sharing her historical knowledge and stories along the way guiding us to hidden waterfalls, ancient ruins, battle fields, ensuring we experienced all the beauty of the country from Islay, Skye, and the highlands.
