Scotland Vacation Review: Oban, Glencoe, Fort William, Inverness, Kiltmaker's Shop Private Tour, 12-Day Trip

It's funny the things that are memorable:
The flooded train tracks in Perth forcing us on a scenic detour.
Stumbling across a bar with hubby's family name in Inverness. And, of course, having a beer or two with the locals.
The sticky toffee pudding, cullen skink, and fish and chips at our hotel in Inverness.
The lovely lady who gave us a private tour of a kiltmaker's shop.
The funny driver who went out of her way to find Highland cattle for me.
The other driver who tried so hard to find Highland cattle but alas, there were none on her stretch.
The overwhelming amount of food in a traditional Scottish breakfast.
The sticky toffee pudding and venison at Coast in Oban.
Glencoe is Yosemite on steroids. So beautiful, even without hiking.
The lovely lady who gave us a quick peek behind the scenes at Highland Soap Company in Fort William.
Strolling Glencoe Lochan. The pond is glass, the view puzzle-perfect. Plus I found red "fairy" mushrooms.
Kintail Raptors are an absolute MUST.
So many castle ruins.
