Spain & Portugal Travel Review: Douro Valley, Ronda, Seville, Small Family Vineyard, Olive Oil Mill, One-on-One Experiences

The Douro area was breathtaking, we have no words for it. The hotel there the very first night, right at a vineyard, was incredibly out of the way but if we had more time there it would have been a huge highlight. We also loved the small guest house in Ronda on the last night. Lunch at a small family vineyard in the area was also an incredible highlight. In Spain we loved the very old, family run olive oil mill El Vinculo and our tapas tour in Granada. We had a lot of one-on-one experiences which certainly cost more, but were the high points of our trip. Being able to have the undivided attention of our guides, who were all personable, made lasting memories.
